Modern basement refurbishment with contemporary bespoke plywood joinery throughout, maximising the use of space within the constraints of a tight footprint.

We have completed several projects for this client, including the refurbishment of their basement into a self-contained flat. The layout was rationalised to improve the bathroom and kitchen, alongside the design of a range of bespoke furniture and storage elements in birch plywood. The renovation also included a new heating and ventilation system, as well as an integrated lighting scheme.

Birch plywood was chosen for its ease of use, sustainability and low-maintenance qualities, while adding the warmth of natural wood tones to an otherwise light and cool-toned space.
