The University of Cambridge, St. John's College, New Court

Completed in 1831 to the designs of Thomas Rickman and Henry Hutchinson, the style of the court is gothic. It remains one of the most iconic and loved buildings of the Cambridge colleges.

Grade 1 listed, it required careful strategy and design in order to upgrade and refurbish it.

Our extensive involvement with the interior refurbishments included upgrading Fellows rooms with new heating, lighting and ensuites in the constrained octagonal turrets, new lighting throughout, refurbished gyp rooms, DDA room and VIP guest rooms.

We custom designed all the furniture in oak and joinery throughout and sourced antiques.
