EWD have been engaged to assist Churchill College in the refurbishment of their buttery, focusing on a design that complements the remarkable 1960s architecture by Sheppard Robson. The brief was to create spaces that are more comfortable, flexible and welcoming for both students and the community.

Our scope includes space planning and developing areas suited to both focused study and social interactions—reflecting valuable community feedback. To further enhance the environment, we are exploring the addition of soft furnishings and acoustic panels to reduce noise levels and improve overall usability.
