Cambridge Innovation Capital - Station Road, Phase 1 & 2
EWD have a continuing relationship with CIC - and were engaged to assist with their office move to a new larger premises. We worked with them over a two year period, doing feasibility studies for various office spaces before settling on their new location on Station Road, Cambridge.
CIC needed more space and felt it was important to upgrade their image in order to best reflect their brand and appeal to their customers. They wanted a large collaboration space, space to entertain and several flexible meeting rooms, as well as space for growing staff numbers.
The space they inherited already had a fit out that was partially reused and adapted to fit their requirements, in order to be sustainable/circular and save resources, not to mention costs. We installed acoustic double glazed office partitions, new lighting, some new carpets, and a large kitchen area for entertaining.
We specified and installed new sit to stand desking, customised storage wall and high end workplace furniture in combination with reusing most of their existing furniture.
